More About Me

As a professional Educational Consultant, I believe in maintaining a positive mindset, creating partnerships with parents, and always striving for successful child outcomes. 


I was certified as a special education teacher in Illinois in 1996 and currently hold a Professional Educators License #4704452 for K-12 as a Learning Behavioral Specialist with endorsements in emotional disabilities and learning disabilities. 


Over the past 25 years, I have gained experience teaching grades 5-12 in the areas of English, Math, Social Studies, and Science.  In accordance with No Child Left Behind (NCLB, 2005) I am highly qualified to teach English, Math, Social Studies, and Science.   


I am accepting students to Educational Freedom between the ages of 10-13 to build a solid foundation for academic success and emotional well being.

Parents are welcomed to join all the classes or join remotely from any device at any time.  Strengthening the parent-child relationship is of vital importance at Educational Freedom.

Received training from the International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP) to facilitate Restorative Practices Listening Circles.

​

Received training from Arnold P. Goldstein, using Skillstreaming techniques to teach prosocial skills and moral reasoning theory. 

​

I have been married for 30 years living a Godly life, and we have one son.  I believe in one God the Almighty, creator of Heaven and Earth.
